Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup and 3OH!3 Kick Off the Bigger Than You Think! Tour

On July 24th, 2026, Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, and 3OH!3 kicked off their tour in Las Vegas, NV, inside the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort. Same lineup, different cities. Performing where they didn’t get a chance last tour. Touring is hard; reminding us adults of how amazing our youth was through the power of music is hard. Writing this review is hard, but we still do it, even if life is a nightmare. 

Simple Plan won’t just be touching our ears with their sweet, sweet melodies and hooks, but also touching our hearts, as they will donate $1 from each ticket sold on this tour to the Simple Plan Foundation. The Simple Plan Foundation was established in 2005, and it focuses on helping young people in need as well as showcasing the power of music for finding direction in life with meaningful purpose. Since its inception, the Simple Plan Foundation has donated over $3M to various charitable causes and been awarded many prestigious distinctions for its philanthropic work. Their music still touches our hearts every time we hear it, and with a foundation that helps youth through music as it helped many of us, it makes loving Simple Plan simple. These are the kind of heroes you wanted growing up. Music that you don’t just memorize but feel. Even decades later, their hits still hit! Including the intro to “What’s New Scooby Doo?.” So if you read this review in time, yes, get the Scooby Doo onesie and get to the front of the barricade, because you may get brought up on stage. 

This tour is a sequel, and the original bands are back, mostly. Bowling For Soup’s long-time guitarist Chris Burney has retired due to health concerns, but fellow bandmates Jaret Reddick (vocals/guitar), Gary Wiseman (drums), and Rob Felicetti (bass) have carried on, insisting, “You can’t replace a legend.” The loyalty for their bandmate is felt, just as the loyalty BFS fans have to them. I saw BFS play last year at Warped Tour in Florida, and they rocked. Fast forward 8 months, and they still rock! Having one of the most famous intro songs to a popular kids show that you may have heard about, “Phineas & Ferb”, and hits like “1985”, “Punk Rock 101”. Bowling For Soup is a staple in the pop punk music genre. While they can headline their own solo tours, seeing them paired with two other big names makes it a show you don’t want to miss.

It’s not a party without 3OH!3. With hooks and beats that made their multiple hits. They are a fountain of nostalgia for us millennials who were transitioning from high school to adulthood. They have stayed active through all these years. If not onstage, behind it. Now they have a new song out titled “My Friends,” proving that 3OH!3 is not about looking back but moving forward. Making the next big hit to be the soundtrack to your next story on social media, to inspire the next great duo, or to be a new song addition to our playlist that hasn’t changed in over a decade. With them being on tour and dropping new music, it’s clear they are on the road to legend status. Their performance was a reminder that we got older, but old families showed up to the concert. Introducing little kids to the music they grew up to, that influenced their thinking, their fashion, their way of life.
